Damn, last night was incredible (especially this photo of the three of us looking totally confused). I had the opportunity to art direct the 30th Anniversary Gala for My Friend's Place in Los Angeles—hosted by Jack Black.
My Friend's Place' main color is red and I chose roses for the main motif because of the numerous connotations that come with a red rose—from blooming new beginnings to lasting love. It was really cool to see people like the Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, Jack Black, and Miley Cyrus interacting with things that were created at my kitchen table.
The gala raised over $750K and the tequila hangover lasted me all the way thru Sunday—both MAJOR. Read more on The Hollywood Reporter here. Shoutout to Kam & Chase, two top tier partners in crime.
