NEW GENT LACQUERED WATCHES FROM SWATCH

Swatch is making a hard comeback and I ain’t even mad. These have been out for a couple weeks now but I still can’t sleep on them. With successful collaborations left and right coming from Swatch, I feel like they’ve really started to step their game up. The New Gent Lacquered collection is one of the newbies and it’s exciting to see the revival.

The series of ten candy colored watches would look dope alone or stacked and could easily fit the wrist of a dude or a chick. The face is my favorite part and this Spring I’m all about yellow. It’s a little bit of early 90′s – kind of reminds me of the clear phone with the colored wires.

MY LEOPARD PRINT COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND:

Friday: As you can see this is just a simple black t-shirt with a hole cut in the middle. That hole is a window to my soul. (And I can’t go more than a day or two without some kind of Melody Ehsani swag.)

Saturday: Nothing says Trashy but Classy better than a leopard print bow-tie from Patricia Field.

Sunday: Diiiiid you cop a new Jeremy Scott x Swatch double wrap leopard watch yet? I DID! Perks of working so close to the Swatch flagship store.

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT MY WALLET WAS SAFE: JEREMY SCOTT X SWATCH… ROUND TWO!

So first off, let’s begin by thanking the Baby Jesus for the second coming of the Jeremy Scott x Swatch collection. This time he took it to another level and for that (DMX voice) “I am forever grateful.” He released these pics via Twitter and they’ll be available September 14th, the same day as his show in New York. THAT’S NEXT WEDNESDAY, PEOPLE!!

Clearly the leopard one is my favorite and will be the first one I purchase, and they X-Ray Vision one is a close second. I haven’t ever really seen a watch with two faces (perfect for LA time and NY time on one wrist.):

I’m also loving the Flavor Flav-esque neck piece but I’m going to have to see it in person before I can make a judgment call. It looks dope in the pic though with that Torrero:

And last but not least, this isn’t really about the watch (I mean it is, but it’s not)… Typically J rocks something from an upcoming collection in these pics and um… did you notice THE FUCKING GOLD WINGED LEATHER JACKET WITH FRINGE ON IT?!?!? Composure.

I can’t. And now I have to go pretend to have my mind on earth for the rest of the day, but in reality, I’ll be picturing THIS.

I’M… KIND OF OBSESSED WITH THIS LITTLE KIDROBOT X SWATCH COLLECTION.

(I use “little” loosely as this collection is clearly a force.) Ok, Swatch does it again. I’m a sucker for a hot collabo and this time they paired up with one of my favorites, Kidrobot. This is like a two-fer, you get the watch AND the Dunny and the price point is like $70-ish. *faints* They are supposed to drop this Friday (Sept 2) – here’s the link.

I can’t really pick which one is my favorite but click HERE to see a close up of all of them. And one more thing… A VIDEO LOOKBOOOOOOOK!!
