JUST A LITTLE OL’ OUTFIT POST: TRIPP NYC, JOYRICH, & LIL’ KIM

I hadn’t been to Trash & Vaudeville in like… a month which is a sin. So last week I stopped by to see my boy Jimmy and he hooked me up with these sickning’ Tripp NYC half red-leopard half black skin tight jeans from heaven and the rest was his-story.

I paired it with my fav denim jacket from Joyrich, my white Docs, and my QB piece in hopes that she sees it and remembers the days of Hardcore.

The latest from the adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott collection are the Flower Bear sneakers. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more crazy, my boy Jeremy took the teddy bear shoe to a whole new level of amazing. This time he’s added a 70′s retro flower-power print with a bright lime green base and a signature yellow sole. As with all things Jeremy, these shoes aren’t for the shy. They’ll be releasing children’s sizes as well which means I might be adopting a child this F/W 2012.

CUSTOM AMERICAN FLAG JEAN JACKETS FROM D.FAME

Ok- so a wise woman once told me that fashion always follows current events and in a time when politics are becoming more prevelant because of the Presidential race it’s no shocker that fashion isn’t too far behind. Recently we’ve seen Americana looks from Jeremy Scott, American Apparel, and Joyrich (just to name my favs a few)… and now we’re seeing this Custom American Flag Jean Jacket from D.Fame. It’s very similar to a Joyrich look from a few seasons before but D.Fame add an ‘ombre-like bleach gradient to the bottom… and I ain’t mad.

KICKS OF THE DAY: LEOPARD PONY HAIR ROYAL COLLECTION FROM SUPRA

Welp my New Jeers is off to a poor start… but COME ONNNN… a guy can only resist leopard pony hair low-tops for so long!

It was a tough decision between the half leopard, half black Cuttler high-top or the all leopard Assault low-top. I like the asymmetry of the half and half Wrap low-top but I just can’t get down with the Wrap model. After much debate, I went with the all leopard low because I like my high-tops to the sky and I’m a sucker for a leopard color block… and Beyoncé.

JOYRICH SS2012 MEGA-POST: MY TOP 5 FAV LOOKS

I was so happy to be able to have one of my favorite brands, Joyrich, release their Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook exclusively with MTVstyle last week. Have a look at the video below and check out the post here.

I took the liberty of adding my mug to my Top 5 Fav pieces from this collection (in no particular order) so you can get the full effect:


01- These dollar print shorts (and matching hoodie, not shown) are everything and I’m in love with the Joyrich Bear crewneck sweater.


02- Obv, this leopard and star print t-shit. It might as well have my name mixed in with the pattern.


03- Floral Print Hoodie… YES PLEASE!


04- LOVE LOVE LOVE the graphic print short sleeved button down. I wouldn’t mind those crayons either…


05- I’m a huge fan of layering (I know I’m not alone) and I’m midly obsessed with all things denim, especially denim jackets and this salmon/pink denim jacket is a must.

This is by far one of the strongest Joyrich collections I’ve seen to date – major props go out to the ‘Rich Team: Leah Schmidt & David Melgar (Leah, I used your last names!!) for making it happen. Keep it comin’! (And big up to my boy T.Kyle from RealityTVGifs for hooking us up with some swagged out photos in motion.)

NATIVE UNION POP PHONE IN GOLD – LIKE A BOSS.

You’ve probably seen people tooling around the city with their Pop Phones and thought “that looks funny”… maybe you giggled about it, maybe you went home and Googled them, maybe you secretly wanted to try one.

All I have to say is… don’t judge your neighbor until you’ve made a call on their Gold Native Union (or Yubz) phone. Once you do you’ll find yourself with one in your bag and one on your way to your sister. They’re amazing. Check the rest of the colors here.

CHLOE SEVIGNY FOR OPENING CEREMONY: CHLOE VISION

It’s no secret I’m a sucker for a hot collabo and this Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony collection is just the retro-enough throwback I was looking for. It’s her fourth collection with OC and definitely one for the books. I love the all over Mead notebook print in pale pink, the addition of classic leopard (obviously) and the graphic tees with bold text treatments. Check out the rest of the unisex collection, including some pretty major eyewear here.
